If you are currently unable to work due to a serious injury or illness you should apply for social security disability benefits. The Social Security taxes you pay are not just meant to benefit you during retirement. Social Security taxes are also paid to help people who can no longer work and their dependents. If you are eligible to receive Social Security Disability benefits, you need to claim your benefits and help to close the financial gap. Don’t miss out on benefits you are entitled to.
You may be ignoring the problem because you just don't know what to do or you think your medical condition will improve. Don’t ignore the problem! Your disability does not have to be permanent to get the benefits you need to close the financial gap. Your disabilitymust last a year or be expected to last a year or result in death within one year. Do not suffer or let your family suffer unnecessarily by not claiming benefits you are entitled to. There is no harm in calling us. We will evaluate your case for free and, as always, your consultation is on us – we are here to help. Let us throw you a lifeline!
Do I Have a Case?
Social Security cases are generally evaluated on the basis of an applicant’s work history, current work situation, and any possible work an applicant could do. The duration and severity of the applicant’s injury or illness are also important considerations. When considering whether an applicant is eligible for social security benefits, generally an applicant should be earning less than $1000.00 per month before taxes. Whether an applicant can perform work which has been performed successfully by the applicant within the past fifteen years is an important factor. Whether an applicant could do any job which exists in the nation is also considered. The injury or illness keeping the applicant from working must have lasted or be expected to last at least twelve months. The inability to work can result from a single injury or illness or can be the result of multiple injuries and/or illnesses. Often medications prescribed for a severe physical injury or illness can prevent an applicant from being able to work. Severe physical injuries or illness may cause anxiety and depression resulting in mental illness which also contributes to an applicant’s inability to work.
